At The Yard Brewing & Distilling Co, our story began in 2022 when Garrett and Courtney transformed their dream into reality with a charming outdoor beer garden on their picturesque 3-acre riverfront property in Oconto, WI. What started as a simple concept—serving craft beverages from a horse trailer—quickly blossomed into a vibrant community hub for beer lovers.

During the winter of 2023-24, we rolled up our sleeves and set out to create something extraordinary. We dedicated countless hours to building our brewery and distillery brand, sourcing state of the art equipment, designing unique eye-catching beer and liquor labels, and collaborating with architects on our brewery space. Most importantly, we immersed ourselves in the art of brewing and distilling, laying the foundation for our craft.

By the summer of 2024, our hard work paid off as we introduced our own brews to the public, receiving enthusiastic feedback that fueled our growth. This momentum led us to partner with a distributor, enabling us to share our creations with an even wider audience.

Looking ahead to summer 2025, we’re excited to unveil our plans for growth! We’ll be increasing our brewing capacity and introducing a new line called Yard Sips—canned vodka seltzers that promise to refresh. Additionally, we’re venturing into infused vodkas, tequila, gin, and whiskey. Our summer beer garden will also relocate to our brewery, allowing you to enjoy our beers on tap and crafted cocktails in the same lively, family-friendly atmosphere you love, complete with yard games and good times.

As we gear up for another busy winter, we can’t wait to continue expanding and enhancing your experience at The Yard Brewing and Distilling. Join us as we craft exceptional flavors, foster community connections, and celebrate the joy of great beverages and even better company!
